Terms & Conditions

I acknowledge that MU Sport seeks to provide an environment that encourages the positive values of respect, fairness, responsibility and safety. I agree to be bound by all applicable terms and conditions, statutes, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines of the University of Melbourne (the University) or MU Sport (‘University Rules’) whilst I am participating in sporting club activities that are excursions, trips, functions, events, games, training or competitions associated with or organised by the University (‘University Activities’) .I have read and understood, and agree to comply with and be bound by the University Rules that apply to my University Activities, including:
 

• The Vice-Chancellor Terms and Conditions as amended from time to time; and

• All applicable University Rules which are set out at: https://sport.unimelb.edu.au/play-sport/club-resources
   

I will obey the reasonable instructions of University and/or MU Sport staff and/or contractors; and Club office bearers, coaches, instructors and/or activity facilitators as relevant to my Club.
 

I understand that if I:

1. Engage in activities that bring the University and/or MU Sport into disrepute or that are illegal;

2. Intentionally misuse or cause damage to the University’s assets or property;

3. Engage in a serious misuse of Club funds or misappropriation of Club funds;

4. Engage in a serious breach of University Rules; or

5. Breach this Membership Agreement or the University Rules;
    

That my Club and/or MU Sport may take appropriate action, which may include:

1. taking disciplinary measures, including suspending or terminating my membership;

2. excluding me from using University premises or facilities;

3. excluding me from participating in University Activities;

4. imposing other penalties or take other action in accordance with the University Rules and/or

5. referring my conduct to the Police or other external body.​
